The production of passenger automobiles in Russia since January until May was reduced by 61,5 percent - from 598 thousand 203 machines (within the same period of last year) to 230 thousand 234 pieces (in 2009). The total volume of assembling automobiles, including cargo and light commercial models, was reduced by 63,6 percent in comparison with the last year's indices.
